Based in New Zealand I was looking for options in Asia and managed to find a job offer in India and had just two days left to confirm my acceptance. Meanwhile I got a call from Search Asia for n opportunity in Singapore. In fact, I was in touch with the consultant a year ago for another opportunity and my details were maintained by SearchAsia. My initial response was I am not keen as I am at the final stages of accepting an offer. On discussion with the consultant, I understood that the interview process can be carried out as soon as possible.
I had my first round of interview next day itself and went pretty well, in the interim I was able to manage few more days from my initial offer. To cut it short four rounds of interview was completed in a week’s time and I was offered the job. The offer was for a top notch Pharma company and a regional profile which I couldn’t resist myself from accepting.
I have moved to Singapore and do enjoy my job - thanks to Search Asia and of course the consultant who turned it around. Off late I do get call from different agencies but none of them could match the benchmark set by SearchAsia.
