The key, and rather unusual, hallmarks of our recruitment philosophy include our mandatory profile analysis surveys, a very rigorous screening and interviewing process, and a preference for people with no prior experience in the recruitment industry.
Yes, we are not overly excited if you have prior recruitment industry experience. Why? The long and the short of it is: we are simply not interested in what you have done before, or what you believe you can do. Instead, we are very interested in knowing who you are as an individual.
Typically, our consultants will bear the following traits and characteristics:
- A good degree from a good university
- Possess a strong record in school extra curricular activities, particularly in sports
- Nil to seven years of working experience in any industry or professional sector
- Possess some or all of these qualities: confident, dynamic, creative, persistent, well-spoken, flexible, open, adaptable
- Able to focus while under pressure and stress-manage effectively
- Passionate about meeting and influencing new people; passionate about the 'people business'
- Have a natural flair in engaging and dealing with senior professionals
- Be keenly interested in helping our clients secure business growth through their interaction with talented individuals
This however is only a guideline. Time and time again we come across individuals who fall within very few of the above criterion, but yet are accepted into our organization, and later go on to do very well. |
