Head of Sales for Aerospace & Defense

  • Understand the company’s strategy for Aerospace & Defense, our current business in APAC and create a roadmap for achieving industry leading growth for Aerospace & Defense.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations.
  • Leverage the Key Account Planning (KAP) process and work with the Strategy Team to identify and execute initiatives to expand business in key customer engagements.
  • Financial Management – Lead the budgeting exercise that happens once every year (between November – March) to set revenue goals for the geography.
  • Provide revenue forecasts on a monthly basis to the company’s Finance team.
  • Manage cost of sales – Create a cost budget as part of the budgeting cycle (including people cost, travel cost and others) and manage it carefully through the year.
  • Leverage their existing professional network and establish the company as a strong brand in Aerospace & Defense across EMEA by participating and contributing in key industry forums.
  • Lead/Participate in key strategic initiatives
  • This is an individual contributor role and the role will be based out of Singapore. The role involves travel outside APAC (2-3 times a year) and within APAC (2-3 times a month).


  • MBA with specialization in Strategy, Business, or Marketing.
  • Degree in Mechanical/Material/Electrical Engineering
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Business Functions, Strategy and Marketing.
  • Experience working in multiple geographies preferred.
  • Experience working in a combination of OEMs/Tier-1s and Professional Services companies preferred.
  • Active affiliation with Aerospace & Defense community networks and ongoing involvement in thought leadership forums preferred.
