Head of Supply Chain/ Distribution (FMCG/ Retail)

Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Strategic & Corporate Planning‏
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the supply chain
  • Managing the supply chain and the supply chain budget within the Annual Operating Plan and global supply chain ambitions and plans
  • Translate global standard operating procedures, protocols and performance related metrics for supply chain and ensure constant alignment with the global standards
  • Responsible for customer service & logistics management
  • Responsible for regional inventory management (risks, costs, levels, flows)
  • Align with Global Supply Chain for priorities in the global network in case of demand and or supply conflicts between Asia Pacific and other regions
  • Prioritize in event of supply constraints affecting customers at a regional level
  • Manage regional logistics footprint (warehouse and distribution network) optimization and ensure optimization is in line with the global logistics footprint optimization
  • Provide input to the global supply chain function to evaluate and select the appropriate global supply chain model (flexibility versus efficiency)
  • Provide input in defining global strategy concerning Logistic Service Providers and translate outcomes in local perspective
  • Ensure compliance to internal policies & procedures and have a deep understanding of and manage compliance to the Combined Business Model
  • Minimum of 10 years leadership experience in Supply Chain and Sales & Operations Planning
  • Familiar with FMCG/ retail/ consumer products fast paced working environment
  • Experience of working in a cross-boundary /multi-cultural environment, with a track record of developing high performance, world class teams
  • Experience in Sales & Operations Planning
  • Experience and proximity to day-to-day supply chain operations
