Purchasing Specialist (Manufacturing) #AKT

Responsibilities:

• Support procurement operations across a large portfolio of above 1000 part numbers, ensuring efficient sourcing and supply continuity.
• Coordinate closely with production planning to manage demand requirements and ensure timely release and fulfillment of purchase orders.
• Monitor material deliveries against the SIOP plan to prevent shortages and minimize disruptions to manufacturing.
• Participate in daily production meetings to highlight material issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Track inventory levels and conduct regular reviews to maintain optimal raw material targets.
• Manage supplier performance and lead contract negotiations, including driving long-term sourcing (LRS) strategies across commodities.
• Identify improvement opportunities by streamlining processes, reducing obsolescence risks, and leading special projects or key initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business / Engineering
• At least 4 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing
• Manufacturing MNC experience
• SAP
