In consultation with the Sales Managers (HOS, ASM, SM), Regional Product Manager and other relevant groups, define the target market and develop the regional marketing plan.
Monitor and analyse market trends.
Study competitors' products and services with Regional Product Manager.
Explore ways of improving existing products and services with Regional Product Manager, and increasing profitability.
Identifying target markets and develop strategies to communicate with them.
Prepare and manage marketing plans and budget.
Manage the production of promotional material.
Produce key reports to track marketing budget, event outcome, competitive pricing and channel performance.
Responsible for the organisation & preparation for participation at industry conferences. (selection of conferences, presentation topic, arranging the organisation resources & budgeting etc).
Act as point of first reference for all marketing related enquiries.
Support Global Marketing team to enhance brand image by providing regional input on marketing initiatives.
Develop and promote strategic objectives, trade synergies, operational synergies, and roll-out of the best practices on prioritize markets.
Establish business plans for the brand development, study and develop reports for improvement areas in the sales, business or key projects.
Deploy the long term brand strategy.
Challenging and coaching the local / regional and cross-regional marketing, sales and project team for the roll out and implementation of the brand strategy, and coordinate with the central functions (Corporate Marketing, Purchasing and Strategic Pricing).
Basic degree in Engineering and post graduate qualification in Marketing.
6-8 years’ relevant working experience in regional marketing positions.
Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts as well as e-marketing.
Ability to develop processes to manage pricing
Excellent understanding of Asia Pacific market place.
Excellent interpersonal skills - experience working in a multi-cultural team within Asia.
Strong relationship management, communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills.
Able to lead multiple initiatives concurrently in accordance with budget and time constraints.
